Dog pixel dimensions limit?

Iâm new to making mods but was wondering, before I create the sprites, is there a size limitation to the dogs ?

I saw a mod that made the dog about the same height as the player, and some that make small Pomeranians, so Iâm wondering if thereâs a limit to work within? :)
