Energy shielding gives the player and NPC another defensive shell, it can be worn with any armor with the exception of power armor or heavy armor(for balance). The energy shield should look like it is worn on the back, thus giving a protective shield to the user. Energy shields have small to large energy capacity to protect its' user depending on model type. Once depleted, the energy shield needs time to fully recharge, while the user has to take cover for it to do so during a battle or finish the battle with no shielding and let the shield recharge. There should also be a disadvantage when having an energy shield. Weight, and consumption of Microfusion cells. Depending on energy shield model, it can vary from light to heavy to house more advanced technology, whilst Microfusion cells are needed for every unit the energy shield uses to recharge itself. Also, energy shields are pretty expensive and rare to be found. Small-medium shields are the ones commonly found on the wasteland, being sold by prospectors, merchants, or "tech traders".
