spuffin
I was thinking of rolling a character maining Archery for long distance engagements Dual Wielding swords when things get close Sword & Shield + Restoration when things get deadly Leather Armor for light on my feet and bad ass skins. What would that build be called and what do you guys think?
spuffin
No stealth. Straight up Bow and Sword
Arcadiast
that would be called a "Legolas" :) Edit: ups! somehow "overread" the sword&shield part...so never mind! Edited December 20, 2012 by Arcadiast
GoodfellowGoodspring
i would call this the 'casual' setup and is what most console players will use in order to 'win' the game and increase their gamerscore.

frakle
I have some friends who play Skyrim on console, and they don't play the game to "increase their gamerscore" or whatever, they play it because it's fun, also I can say for a fact NONE of them use this set up. Jiggalopuff
I would ditch the shield and simply invest in stamina in order to avoid Close-Range attacks, especially if you have a follower with a shield. Skyrim has plenty of places to run away to. No stealth. Straight up Bow and Sword I don't see the point of not practicing stealth. It would make sense in Oblivion given your limited number of "skill slots"(major, minor skills). But unless you are going to use heavy Armor there really isn't any reason not to spend time sneaking around.
