How to package a mod for NMM installation

So I've thrown together a quick mod, it's very simple, just an esp. It changes the weight of Dragon Bones and Scales, I wasn't entirely happy with the others available already and so I made my own. I haven't tested it yet, but given how simple it is I can't imagine what would go wrong with it, it's more or less ready to upload just as soon as I see that it actually works.

Here's the thing, I haven't been able to find any information on how to package it so the "Download with manager" button wil work, I'd like to have NMM support if I'm going to upload this. What do I need to do in order for that to work? I apologize if this has been asked a million times, but I didn't find anything so I figured I'd ask. No matter how bare-bones (heh) my mod is, I'd like to do this properly.

Oh, so I'd just upload it as I normally would. I don't know why, but I thought there was more to it than that, I suppose the files I've seen without NMM support have been loose, unzipped files. I got distracted by fiddling with a steel plate texture, so once I get around to testing both I'll probably just upload the Dragon Bone mod and see what happens, unless someone else has any more insight to offer in the meantime.

You create a folder and name it with your mod name. Inside that folder you make a new folder and name it data. Inside the data folder is where you put the esp. and if you have textures or meshes that are required you make a folder for each of those and place them in the data folder as well. Then you zip it all up as an archive and when you upload it it should work with the NMM. Make sure you create a version number when uploading as well.

Right, so basically the same way I've always done it. Thank you for the information, I'm just going to see that it works and then I'll be uploading it.

EDIT: The mod has been uploaded and I managed to download it just fine with the NMM button. Thank you all for the help.
