daedricprince22
again like in the topic im not sure if its a mod causing it or what but i have dawnguard and when on my horse i swing my weapon instead of doing like the horse usually does and keeps running when i swing the horse stops rears up and does like a weird kick thing instead of continuing running part of me thinks the convenient horses mod might be the culprit as that is the only mod i have in reguards to horses if anyone has any ideas that might help i want to hear all of them and your help in this matter will be most appreciated
MShoap13
You mind posting your load order? Mods that change the default races and haven't been updated in a long time are known to cause issues with horse combat, though this is the first time I've heard of this particular issue. MShoap13
Don't all three of these do the same thing?:9.gender race heights esp.15.real race heights esp16.skyrim sizes esp. I'm only familiar with Skyrim Sizes and I know it has some copying errors in it's Horse Combat Mount Data. However, you'd be the first person I've heard of that had a problem with it. It's errors are mostly minor things that shouldn't affect gameplay. If all of these do the same thing, it's senseless to be running them all. They just overwrite eachother and the last one loaded is the only one that takes effect. Some of those mods that affect vampires could also be messing with races. I recommend loading all of your currently active plugins up in TES5Edit, applying the cleaning filter, and then comparing all of the race records in Skyrim Sizes to your other plugins to determine which ones definitely do affect races and if they have any errors. In Edit, once the background loader says it's finished, right click in the left pane and choose "apply filter for cleaning"; Expand the tree for Skyrim Sizes then expand the RACE group and click on the first race (will probably be Argonian); right click in the "View" tab (the right pane) and select "Hide no conflict rows". This will compare every plugin that affects the first race record, make sure there are no discrepancies regarding Attack Data or Mount Data between the last plugin loaded (the one on the far right) and Update.esm. Then move on to the next race record (Breton) and so on until you've checked every one of them. If you find any plugins that are missing or have incorrect values for Mount Data or Attack Data you have a few options. You could just abandon that plugin. You could attempt to fix it yourself in TES5Edit or the CK (Most subrecords and even whole branches of subrecords can be copied from one plugin to another in Edit, just click and drag). Make sure you backup the original if you make any changes to any plugin. You could check to see if there's already an updated version of the mod(s) available. You could try changing your load order, but this is most likely to just undo the changes of any mod loaded before the last one that affects the default races.
