LE Run your own shop.

Hello.

I've been thinking of mod idea's lately and this is one i love to see made for skyrim, a mod that make's you run a shop in one of the hold, have a caravan, or a market shop in Riten or Whiterun.

I have so many ideas for a mod like this i don't even know were to start so i will bullet-point them below:

 

-Run a shop in one of the hold, or in the skyrim world space:

You can open the shop any were in skyrim, if you have a tent and mat in your pack as well as a stuff you wish to sell, there is 2 tents a small tent and a big tent.

To get a shop in the market you must pay a fee to the Jarl of the hold you what to work in

Riften will be 2000 Gold

Whiterun will be 3000 Gold

Or even more expensive, to run get a shop you must earn the title Thane this will lower the price to own a shop but you can still buy one but for a price that more then buying a home or the same price but with a monthly payment to keep the shop open.

 

-Keep your stock safe.

You can keep your stock in a box behind the desk if you own a store, if it a market it will under the shops desk, if your running a caravan you must keep the stock on you in your bag.

But if you want to make sure your stocks complacently safe you can hire guards for all three, they will keep it safe but for a fee.

 

-Get Robed.

If you out, or asleep in bed you can get robed, if you are sleeping you will get an event that wakes you up and give you a text box saying "someone is down stairs" or something like that meaning you can call the guards or kill the thief, But if you out you will lose some stock or you can find evidence to find the person who robed you.

 

-Get customers.

Making people in your hold or people you meet come to your shop, tell random npcs about your shop make the come to you, when they want to buy something they say "i like to buy this" and money is given. this will probably be the hardest part to do and script.

 

Newest Ideas:

 

-Hire people to run the shop.

Need help, to keep your shop running hire people to run it for you and open other shops in all holds, the money your earn will be given to you if you vist your shop, so remember to check back in once in a while, but to keep these people you must pay them, there pay is taken out of you gold at the end of every 2 months.

 

-Set your own price for items.

You can set your own price for item but there a catch, if you set it too expansive you can lose costumers, set it too cheap you can lose money,

what you do is up to you.

 

-Show your stock.

The Stock you are selling, must be displayed in the store on weapon racks as well as display shelf's. This is a must to get the money rolling, once your stock is sold out will get a message saying your out of stock only a small amount of items can be sold at a time, if it a market shop only 5 item, for caravan it depends on your tent small tent 5 items like market for big ten 10 items. For a shop 20 item can be show but more display box's and racks can been sold to you to sell more stock in your shop.

- Open More then one shop

If you have the gold you can open up multiple shops from market's to caravan, all you need is gold to open the shop, gold to hire people to run the shop and gold to keep the shop protected.

- Have staff run errands.

Want to run the shop for you self, but need to get stock. You can set time that your staff (you can hire 2 staff if you run a shop, 1 if you run a market, and non if you own a caravan, but you can buy and carriage to put your stock in), you have to give gold to your staff to fetch the supples, with choices of what you want them to buy from Swords to food.

- Build your own shop and Town.

With the Hearthfire DLC, you can build your own house, i like to use this idea so you can build a shop and extend up on it, you can all build a shopping town with mutiple shops in one area, aswell a new town to run a own in the skyrim world space.

ome kind of hearthfire concept so instead of just building a home you can build shops in place like Heimskrs house after it gets destroyed, or invest in store, then buy them completely.

I like this Idea I would like to see it happen.

 

Also if you have the Gold you can Open Multiple Shops and Hire people to run those Shops just to Increase your Profits. And you can Also Hire Guards to defend your Shops.

i just seen a mod that add a market shop with some nice idea on it so far, i hope this ideas can be added to it. but so far i looking for more ideas to add.
