vista giving me folder dragging problems

for some reaon vista wont let me drag new folders into my fo3 data folder i can drag idividual file but not folders.

im not a windows retard, i have my administrator settings set to full control, which should allow me to do anything i please

 

for example i open a mod file i just downloaded and theres a textures folder, if i drag this texture folder to my desktop it will simply dissapear leaving the folder i dragged in its original place. same problem with data files. if i drag a new folder it wont ask me for any administrator verification or anything just dissapear and not acknowledge anything.

 

any ideas would be nice. ive been googling this probem with no luck.

Do you have user account control on?Try disabling it and see if that works.Another thing you might try is to not login as administrator.Instead use right click run as admin for tasks that require it.Has to do with the way vista handles priorities.

Microsoft advises to not turn off uac so it's up to you.Mine's off,i found it annoying.
