filledb
I run the "Basic Human Needs" mod, as well as "Hunting in Skyrim", "Realistic Wildlife" and "Realistic Wildlife Loot - Realistic". The problem that i experience is that certain foods don't seem to register as food, in other words they do nothing to satisfy hunger. These include Mammoth, Saber Cat, Wolf, Fox, Goat, Deer, Bear, Elk, Mudcrab Grouse and a few others. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance Meredith
kryptopyr
A few things I can think of to check are: Did you create those items as Potions (not MiscItems or Ingredients)? All foods are actually considered "potions" by the CK. Under each individual potion, make sure that "Food Item" is checked and that the item also uses the keyword "VendorItemFood." I'm not sure whether this last one matters, but most vanilla foods also use a magic effect that is labeled "Foodxxx."
Veltoss
It sounds like he's talking about food from those mods, not food he created himself. When using the hunger mod, only vanilla foods and mod food that is compatible with the hunger mod will affect hunger, as they probably require a keyword or special effect to affect hunger. Make sure the mods adding new food items are actually compatible with the hunger mod you're using.
Neograf
Veltoss is quite right about this. Most needs-mod add a special effect to the food items. Food from other mods like RWS, RWL does not get these effects without a compatibility patch. There don't seem to be any comp-patches for "Basic Human Needs" on the Nexus and asking the author wont help either I think, as he seems inactive since may. You can try making a compatibility patch on your own with TES5edit or switch to an up-to-date needs mod like "Realistic Needs and Diseases" (which has plenty of patches, incl. RWS/RWL) - I'm shure you'll find one or two other on the Nexus. Btw. I think there is no benefit in using "Realistic Wildlife Skyrim" together with "Realistic Wildlife Loot" as RWS does a lot of the things RWL does and you'll have duplicate raw food items from using both mods.
