UnholyShadow
Does anyone have any tips on maintaining a neutral karma level? I still want to mainly be good, but I want to have a neutral karma level.
Tchos
I don't know how to maintain it, since my karma always ends up through the roof, but probably the easiest way I know of to adjust your karma if it's too high would be to steal often, and never give pure water to the beggars. There may be better ways.
falloutx
alright i have just the tip for ya good question on how not sure when u gonna maintain it this is what is the possible solution to all your karma nightmare 1. all you do is stick doing good karma like doing good to at least 2 or 3 people2. bad karma is you steal and lockpicking 3. check your pipboy karma status everytime when its going to be bad , go look for good karma quest thats how i maintainkeep doing this you are neutral meaning you aint nobody side , but at the last quest its a big problem you know why last quest will be testing your patient on mainting karma level a tough either you want to go bad or good it will decrease slowlyso follow number one and two thats the only option you have good luck :D
Sephlyn
Be good then open a lootable container over and open locked safes{If you want to do it without using a Command Con Code Find a safe that can open and lock through a computer's commands, then open up the safe, lock it again, rinse and repeat. (there are also codes to set your Karma you could look up[i'm was a Saint but I did it to recruit Clover])

falloutx
no prob but maintaing neutral you cant have followers , some followers might require you to have bad and good karma neutral is for lone wanderers and turst me loner is a bad a thing you can lost your games pretty much but hiring you lost about 300-1000 caps the most pain on the neck follower is jericho i have to kill and steal in order to get him dangit
Tchos
no prob but maintaing neutral you cant have followersThat is incorrect. There are 2 followers that require you to have neutral karma in order to hire them: Butch and Sergeant RL-3. Your karma can change while they're in your service and they won't leave you, but if you fire them, you can't rehire them unless you get your karma back to neutral. Also, Charon and Dogmeat can be hired at any karma level.

Tchos
You can only recruit him after Trouble on the Homefront, and only if you choose to open the vault during that quest.http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Butch_DeLoria
