Can not get the BFF option

Hello,

 

As the tiltle says,

 

I can not get the BFF option while talking to Preston.

 

I tried a lot, including some console commands, but after the BBSO I still do not get the option for the BFF.

 

Can anybody help me, please?

 

P.S. I already did the settlement-quests and also the Castle quest for the Minuteman. But still I do not get this option.

Did I miss something?

BFF = Best Friends Forever

 

BBSO = I did a check and I'm not sure as that is specifically CONTEXT related. So you have to know the context it's being used in.

What the topic matters... Preston is maybe the vanilla companion with the most dialog in the game. He is attached to a ton of quests and scenes. That bugs him sometimes, even in a game without mods. Using mods for him doesn't make that better, I guess and so you should maybe check if you have mods installed that also touch preston and throw them then over board.

Problem is solved, I could romance Preston now.

 

But I still don' t know the meaning of BBSO.

Just another abbreviation without explanation. So typical of Nexus.

Sure. Rammstein and Nightwish come to mind immediately when hearing "BBSO". Or maybe it's Bosby, Bills, Sash & Oung, cousins of Crosby, Stills Nash & Young...

Comon, have you never shorten them down to their first letters to that time Jimmy? Not Rammstein or Nightwish of course, but by bands with more words in their names, I had hear it very often to that time.
