Hello i#m back from the ball and have soem soem notes that may be intesting,

First the longest sentance ever written for actuall reason other than a game was written in the early 1800's as a decription about louis phillipe whom could have been the king of france. However this sentance was origianlly written in French natuarally and has many ,'s ;'s and :'s. the total word count was 650 or so.

However this is nothing compared to the blah stories, which range beyond 1000 words in asentance., as my long sentace describes earla on, it's impossible to create the longest sentance becasue in english a singel sentance could extend forever as would have min if i had not run out of time. Read it for details.

Fun gam ethough in an opposite direciton would be th eshortest non fragment sentance, i which case i believe that

Go

is the shorstest sentance, unless anyoen can think of a shorter one, I'm always open to critism, complaints and agumetns for whithout them i can't think properly, and end up writtng sentace as found before hand.

This is that sentance i was talking about i made a mistake earlier this has over 800 words.

"The son of a father to whom history will accord certain attenuating circumstances, but also as worthy of esteem as that

father had been of blame; possessing all private virtues and many public virtues; careful of his health, of his fortune,

of his person, of his affairs, knowing the value of a minute and not always the value of a year; sober, serene,

peaceable, patient; a good man and a good prince; sleeping with his wife, and having in his palace lackeys charged with

the duty of showing the conjugal bed to the bourgeois, an ostentation of the regular sleeping-apartment which had become

useful after the former illegitimate displays of the elder branch; knowing all the languages of Europe, and, what is

more rare, all the languages of all interests, and speaking them; an admirable representative of the “middle class,” but

outstripping it, and in every way greater than it; possessing excellent sense, while appreciating the blood from which

he had sprung, counting most of all on his intrinsic worth, and, on the question of his race, very particular, declaring

himself Orleans and not Bourbon; thoroughly the first Prince of the Blood Royal while he was still only a Serene

Highness, but a frank bourgeois from the day he became king; diffuse in public, concise in private; reputed, but not

proved to be a miser; at bottom, one of those economists who are readily prodigal at their own fancy or duty; lettered,

but not very sensitive to letters; a gentleman, but not a chevalier; simple, calm, and strong; adored by his family and

his household; a fascinating talker, an undeceived statesman, inwardly cold, dominated by immediate interest, always

governing at the shortest range, incapable of rancor and of gratitude, making use without mercy of superiority on

mediocrity, clever in getting parliamentary majorities to put in the wrong those mysterious unanimities which mutter

dully under thrones; unreserved, sometimes imprudent in his lack of reserve, but with marvellous address in that

imprudence; fertile in expedients, in countenances, in masks; making France fear Europe and Europe France!

Incontestably fond of his country, but preferring his family; assuming more domination than authority and more authority

than dignity, a disposition which has this unfortunate property, that as it turns everything to success, it admits of

ruse and does not absolutely repudiate baseness, but which has this valuable side, that it preserves politics from

violent shocks, the state from fractures, and society from catastrophes; minute, correct, vigilant, attentive,

sagacious, indefatigable; contradicting himself at times and giving himself the lie; bold against Austria at Ancona,

obstinate against England in Spain, bombarding Antwerp, and paying off Pritchard; singing the Marseillaise with

conviction, inaccessible to despondency, to lassitude, to the taste for the beautiful and the ideal, to daring

generosity, to Utopia, to chimeras, to wrath, to vanity, to fear; possessing all the forms of personal intrepidity; a

general at Valmy; a soldier at Jemappes; attacked eight times by regicides and always smiling; brave as a grenadier,

courageous as a thinker; uneasy only in the face of the chances of a European shaking up, and unfitted for great

political adventures; always ready to risk his life, never his work; disguising his will in influence, in order that he

might be obeyed as an intelligence rather than as a king; endowed with observation and not with divination; not very

attentive to minds, but knowing men, that is to say requiring to see in order to judge; prompt and penetrating good

sense, practical wisdom, easy speech, prodigious memory; drawing incessantly on this memory, his only point of

resemblance with Caesar, Alexander, and Napoleon; knowing deeds, facts, details, dates, proper names, ignorant of

tendencies, passions, the diverse geniuses of the crowd, the interior aspirations, the hidden and obscure uprisings of

souls, in a word, all that can be designated as the invisible currents of consciences; accepted by the surface, but

little in accord with France lower down; extricating himself by dint of tact; governing too much and not enough; his own

first minister; excellent at creating out of the pettiness of realities an obstacle to the immensity of ideas; mingling

a genuine creative faculty of civilization, of order and organization, an indescribable spirit of proceedings and

chicanery, the founder and lawyer of a dynasty; having something of Charlemagne and something of an attorney; in short,

a lofty and original figure, a prince who understood how to create authority in spite of the uneasiness of France, and

power in spite of the jealousy of Europe, — Louis Philippe will be classed among the eminent men of his century, and

would be ranked among the most illustrious governors of history had he loved glory but a little, and if he had had the

sentiment of what is great to the same degree as the feeling for what is useful."

Oh and deus you added a "or two" in the first line and i see you didn't spell check either.

Firstly on a note, my sentence on page one was 651 words long for someone who missed it and thought philosopher's 500 word monster was the longest. Now that I've been provoked here comes word monster v2.0. Also that "800 words long sentence" contains a full stop and I find that with quite high probability it hasn't been written by philosopher himself(The grammar differences and the way the language is used differs too much in my opinion.). I do have a screenshot of this occurance incase it gets edited out and yes, I DO want to prove that I am the best crafter of insanely long slightly nonsensical sentences.

It would seem you still want to taunt into this game and I will always take up the challenge but this time I will go for over two thousand words so be prepared for a long reading session which is your own fault for starting this and forcing me to come up with topics of discussion that I can mix up in one sentence which can can get rather annoying after a certain amount of time but I do not really care as I can pretty much always come up with something to discuss about and this time I've chosen a few targets(100) for some quite possibly pointless discussion about Oblivion and several mods like Heart of the Dead which was recenly released and offers a great deal of things for any player with a long quest with multiple choices during the storyline and several puzzles that actually require you to use your head to solve them although there may be other mods which offer similar things but I still have not found any that would give off the same atmosphere and unique feeling this one managed to give me during the playthrough albeit there have been several other good mods that can get close to the same feeling with The Elder Council mod being in(200) there but still I would say it loses to Heart of the Dead in comparison while I have to personally admit at this moment I am slightly sleepy which is making this sentence crafting a bit harder for me than it usually is but no matter what I will still be able to beat your extremely long sentences and I actually forgot if Xan decided to accept semicolons and the others but I can not be bothered enough to go check it either while I am typing this so I am just going to keep on typing without the use of(300) any semicolons or commas and the like which does make this text slightly harder to read but I do want to be sure that I am fulfilling the rule requirements with this post so here I am crafting this damn sentence that philosopher101 taunted out of me and this typing process will not be ending any time soon for me at this point as I really am just getting started but it was partly my own fault aswell when I said that I would accept any challenges in sentence length and admittedly none of these sentences fulfill the grammatical requirements(400) that a literature teach would require of us but none the less this is still fun in some weird kind of way that I will probably never fully understand and as far as I can see no one else will either however I still intend to finish this up and write out the damned two thousand words I promised at the beginning of this rant and I am actually thinking of switching languages here since it would allow me to craft far longer sentences with my own language but can not really do it since there are not many people here(500) who could even understand what I would be typing which leaves me to only use english even if it is not defined in the rules but most likely should be to avoid anyone trying to use that loophole which is a level I will never lower myself onto and by that I mean I will never use loopholes in simple contests like this however admittedly I have used them in real life when I have found them and abused the system as some call it but I personally prefer to call that clever use of laws and rules although I do(600) need to clarify that I have not broken laws but mainly some rules regarding school and some other real life contests for which I have to thank my quick wit but I think I have blabbered on and bragged more than I should and I am thinking of changing the topic of conversation to something like the winter which has not been like it used to be for several years now with a good example being that last year we did not have snow on christmas here in Finland although luckily this year we seem to have it but it also(700) came over two months later than it did ten years ago which is kind of saddening for me as I do enjoy sculpting ice albeit some people will never understand what I see in it and I really am not good at explaining it either but I kind of feel free to do whatever I want when I can make something with my own two hands be it drawing or making ice sculptures and I think there are some people who like doing things with their own hands aswell while letting their creativity flow and that is something I find(800) among the few true freedoms we have nowdays as pretty much everything we do is being monitored be it legal or not and Russia is a great example of censorship as I believe it has not been even seven months since there was a journalist kidnapped or killed in there after criticizing the government for several things and that is something I find disturbing when people who are supposed to question the actions of the government are being silenced and stripped of their right to say what they think is wrong with their current system but I do know Russia is not(900) the only one of the large countries that has heavy censorship on some matters which at times and on certain subject could be understood but on times of peace when countries actually have the chance to make sure it prospers and improves as a place for people to live in but I think it is about time for another topic change as I always tend to find politics and the like quite boring and this time I shall have my word about todays food my mom is cooking and it is going to be lasagna if I even spelt that right(1000) but anyway we are going to have lasagna for dinner with a bit of champagne as it is the day of independence for Finland and I honestly saying am starving while typing this as I have skipped breakfast and mom probably will not start cooking the food for at least an hour which makes this the shortest topic of discussion in this single sentence that I simply refuse to bring to halt by simply just keeping on typing and switching the topic from one thing to the next which should never even be done several times in a single sentence but we(1100) do not care as this is a contest and the grammar freaks that even I belong to have no say in this as long as the sentence makes sense which is something I intend to hold but on another matter I believe that crafting the longest possible actual word contest could be interesting but that should be left for later until we have first finished this one which by the looks of it could take a rather long time since I am a stubborn mule when I set my sights on something and(1200) this is one of the few things I do intend to win for a reason that I do not even know myself but this also makes me wonder if there is a limit to how many letters can be used in a single post and if not I believe that Dark0ne might actually implement that after seeing these word monsters of ours or mainly mine in this case as this will probably hog the rest of the entire page or actually instantly throw us to the next page which would be somewhat of an achievement in my mind but now I do(1300) need to find a new topic to blabber about and todays weather might be otherwise interesting topic if it was not all gray and boring which it just happens to be and this leaves to look out for a new topic of discussion which could possibly be about how many modders the Elder Scrolls community has lost due to trolls and whiners bitching at ones releasing large projects which may or may not be fully finished and generally contain perfectly written installation instructions and information on what else may be required and links onto where they can be found but for some(1400) reason there are idiots lurking in the community that refuse to read them and female dog about stuff that has been said that will never be implemented in to the mod or about a feature that will be added later and then trash rate based on the fact that it is missing something that will be added in a later version or that there already is a fix for the problem in question but the poster in question is just too dumb to download and install it with giskard being a prime example of the victims of people like them and in all honesty I(1500) would like nothing more than to rip out their intestines and strangle them with them and I believe anyone seeing that small bit of text might have gotten a chuckle out of it as being a slightly edited quote of Sheogorath but it simply fits the feelings I have towards all the whiners here who have caused us to lose many great modders already however I now need another change of topic here which leads me to talk about the sentence that philosopher made as anyone looking at the grammar can notice that the way he writes here and the eight hundred(1600) word monster do not match at all which leads me to believe he has quoted and edited the work of someone else and has not actually written that himself but not that it matters as I believe I have already beaten that with this and I refuse to stop until I hit the two thousand word mark which is still rather far away but it is not even near impossible although the counting operation afterwards will likely give me a headache but I refuse to stop and actually hope you will get a headache of just thinking about reading all of this but(1700) now I need yet another topic change and now for the eight time it is I believe I will be changing the topic and this time it will be about what I am going to do once I finish this is nonsensical piece of text that no one should never be forced to read but on to the topic as I intended to so what I am going to do once this is finished is go grab something to eat something quite possibly bread before mom starts starts cooking the lasagna and once I have had my breakfast I am(1800) going to play a bit of Oblivion and do some thorough bug hunting with the Heart of the Dead mod I was speaking of previously as I had promised that to the author MidDark and I do intend to keep my promises even if this damn challenge of yours is taking insane amounts of time from me I as I have said previously will never accept defeat on this battlefield of words and now if you excuse me I still have a bit of ranting left to do to finish this sentence at around two thousand and one hundred words which should(1900) give me the title of insane crafter of insanely long sentences but I do need to think about that a bit later once I actually get finished with this and I still have that mod to play in Oblivion even if it was relatively bug free I did notice some pieces and corners of wall missing along with some small scale bugs like an automated popup message being spammed on me and halting my game quite often but luckily MidDark did fix that one already and for that I have to give him a big fat thank you and the kudos I gave(2000) him was more than well deserved for a large mod of that scale and I can not believe I still need to blabber on with this sentence just to make sure I have used over two housand words no matter what way you count these so this really is quite bothersome but I know I am slowly getting there and I can finally go get something to eat and drink and lay down for a while to get rid of this headache from counting and typing so seriously I advice anyone not to try and type a message this long as it really(2100) is insanely boring and tiring.

That brings me to a total of 2105 points/words so if anyone wants to try that, feel free to and I'll be waiting to type another word monster.

Well i think that's just about it, unless anyone's heard of the "Blah" story.

I will now officially hand over the "crown" of long sentance typing skills to Elraine cause she's earned it,

Disclaimer and Facts:

The monolouge concearnign Loius Phillipe was not written by me, It does not actually have a full stop if you considered that it was first written in French from a few hundred years ago.

Nigel Tom's the Blah story spanning 4 voulumes of his work, however this is an absurdist piece, and the majority of the sentance is made almost entirely out of the word "blah" Voulume 19 of Nigel's piece is mostly one word, this word being compised as a combination of many diffrent words, and Agglutination if you will. Nigle's sentance spanns, 2403109 words, his long word is made of 3609750 characters.

Mark Leach has written a 3000000 book that has been published the book itself has 17000000 words.

The guiness book of world records has a record given to The Longest Sentance in English

this however has 1287 as the longst sentacne.

Well Elraine i guess you've re-written history, ha Punny joke.

And for that you get your "crown" a kuds from me and a Question

That's 17065 words there. And 5686 doors. This (as the rules define) is not cheating.

Wasder's text isn't really a sentence as it lacks the required structure(FAR more than any other sentence currently provided in here, it isn't even in semi-well written category, but on the other hand, my longest sentence also lacks perfect grammatical structure so this may seem like I'm barking at a tree.), as for philosopher, I do apologize if you did indeed write the text I commented about.(And I do mean it!) As for that random wall of text, I was like WTF? while I was reading it. :P
