The 1st thing I'd do is guard against my successor! ha! Anyone remember that little Mayor girl in Fallout 3 and how long her leadership position lasted? hehehe.

 

But on a more serious note, the saying of "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely" would have me quite nervous. Whatever I would do, it would have to be done fast and in a permanent way so I could not screw things up later...kinda like how the initial designers of the United States wanted to ensure that no man could gain absolute power which would eventually lead to a tyranny which is what they were fleeing from in the 1st place.
