Recently i installed a few new mods that i didnt like so i uninstalled them afterwards, i did this on a new save so my current save wouldnt be affected but now when i load one of my saves it loads for a few seconds and then i get a CTD. I can start a new game and the game wont crash but i cant figure out why this is happening, i uninstalled everything till the point i was before installing any of these new mods. anjenthedog Posted April 24, 2020 Share Posted April 24, 2020 Try loading a save created before you installed the mod(s). Mods leave data in the save files that, if the associated "engine" is missing, the save may fail. *sometimes*, the problem can be solved (for a current save) by using Fallrim tools to perform garbage collection, but don't count on it. SpiderAkira Posted April 24, 2020 Share Posted April 24, 2020 One the mods you installed might've overwritten something on your character that the save depends on. Might have to reinstall some mods you already had before. That's the only thing I know for sure to break saves like that.
