better lighting in char creation screen

I was curious if there was any way to improve that god awful lighting in the char creation screen, so you can actually see your chars face, instead of half assed guessing.. My biggest complaint in the game all together is the lighting in general in the game. But the face gen screen, is just unacceptable.. has anyone found a fix for this, or is anyone working on a fix.. would much appreciate a mod or a suggestion on how to improve this issue.

There is a console command to edit the gender / race / face / hair called showracemenu, which gets you the usual hard to see gene projector. But if you turn on your pip-boy flashlight first, it will illuminate your character's face in the showracemenu.

 

Step by step:

Playing game normally, in first person view.

Turn on Pip-Boy light.

Hit ~ to bring up the console.

Type showracemenu.

Hit ~ again once inside the showracemenu to remove the console.

Click and drag and mousewheel on the character portrait to rotate and zoom.

 

I don't know if it's related, but I'm also using "MrSlackPants-DecentPipBoyLight"
