There's nothing special about making a mod for NMM aside from the fact that it has to mimic the same file structure as the game's data folder. If it's just an esp then you don't have to do anything differently. If you have other files you have to put the textures in a folder named 'textures', meshes in a folder named 'meshes', etc. and possibly in subfolders within those folders. I'd assume you'd already know that if you had any extra files though. All NMM does is extract the file to your data folder.
