Saves not loading - freezing

So, i have FO3 running on my Win 10 laptop without any major issues, except a single (game-breaking) one: savegames.

Any savegame i try to load AFTER quitting the game freezes my loading screen (which sometimes turns black some 30s in the glitch). But if i try to load the saves BEFORE quitting, they run perfectly well.

Anyone had this kind of issue? Any ideas on how to solve it?

Removing command extender fixed it for me. My game froze atleast once every 3 minutes, sometimes 10 seconds into the game. 4/5 attempts at loading crashed the game.
