gohanf22
Does anyone know the location of where to install the mods for the Dragon Age Origins Ultmate Edition Steam version? I had the regular version before but the disc took a crap on me so now I have the steam version. Anyone know where they need to be installed to? Thanks. micalov
It should be the same, my docs, bioware, dragon age, core etc etc.
Thandal
micalov has it right. No change in mod locations with Steam vs. non-Steam. For mods that are "placed in the override folder", the Win7/8 path is: C:\Users\[username]\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\overrideAdjust to suit your flavor of OS... (Oh, and why in the world would you have paid for the game again through Steam when you could have downloaded it from the EA/Origin store for free? :whistling: )
mcgoy
Thandal - can you say a bit more about EA/Origin and 'free'? My disk is starting to get worn (design issue for 'all in one desktops') and downloading from EA/Origin means that I don't have to play with the disk installed, right? Thandal
If you log-in to EA/Origin with the same account as the one to which your game is registered, you can use the "Redeem a Game Code" utility to download it. In this case, the "code" is your CD-Key.
