NV - Bounties 1 11 and ....

Okay, I have tried to figure this out and did some research and could not find an answer.

 

. o O ( Dealing with serious kidney stone pain - they get removed this Tues, is likely not helping! :P )

 

So here is the problem -

 

I get a " Go To Arrow Marker " and go there .... and let's say Jasper is NOT there. The arrow marker is, but Jasper is not.

 

So I used the console command: movetoqt and I'm taken to the same spot just " outside the cell buildings and such ". Then I get Jasper's ID and go back into the Cell and use the Moveto command and Jasper comes back into the NV World Freeside Cell.

 

Also Doors to Quest building are not there. Use the same: Movetoqt and I get into the building. But when I exit the door, I'm back in a " nomad cell " as I call it.

 

I can supply a pic if needed?

 

I tried moving the mods to the bottom of the load order and to NO avail, the " glitch " is still there!

 

My Mod List: ( yes I also tried LOOT, as I tell others .. to no avail. )

NVB has some seriously complex dialog driven event sequences. Fail to speak with all the right people and others do not appear at designated locations. I'm guessing this is the issue with Jasper. (Too long ago to recall specifics.)

 

There is also a lot of use of IMODS (fade ins and outs) which I had problems with in NVB3. (Had to hack the code to get it to progress, where others had no problems.) In light of the revelations about file handle limits revealed by the "FNV Mod Limit Fix", I suspect that will help (in case you do not have it installed as yet).

 

Regarding the "Doors to Quest building". "Doors" are just teleports from the exterior game cells into it's interior "building" cells. (Each building is it's own cell.) The console commands are doing the same thing without the transition graphics. Not clear to me what else you were expecting. Also not clear as to which of many possible "quest" buildings you are referring to that was missing a door.
