GECK Radio (And other issues)

Hi,

I felt a new thread was in order as it is a different set of questions,

1st- How would I get a radio in fallout to play CONELRAD radio? I see you can set them to play the vanilla stations but some help on playing a modded one would be great.

2nd- Sometimes when in the GECK I can no longer move anything in the render window, it is like everything is frozen in place. I can highlight things things by dragging over them but not move or edit them, any help would also be great.

Thanks.

To make a world radio play a mod added radio, you first need to have the radio mod plugin file as a master for your own (or edit that plugin directly, but that's just bad practice).

Since CONELRAD is not a master file, you'll need to set it as one so that you can work with it. Open it with FNVEdit, and then expand the mod out. In the "File Header" section, next to "Record Flags", right click and chose edit, then check the box next to "ESM" and click OK. Close and confirm save.

Now open GECK and in the Data Files dialog double click the CONELRAD plugin and if you have already made your own, set it as active (if not just load CONELRAD).

Once it's all loaded, just go to the activator section in World Objects and search for radios. You can look at them to see how they do it, and just change the Radio dropdown to point at the CONELRAD station instead.

Hi,

Did as you said but CONELRAD isn't available on the drop down menu.

Any idea why?
