ERASERhead1
Hello, I'm having issues with my Whiterun braziers, both the standing ones and the bowls at the front gate and Dragonsreach steps.Strangely the only conflict I found is with High Poly Project and Illustrious Whiterun parallax meshes but regardless of which mod I load after they still look the same. So I guess doesn't that mean the problem isn't the mesh but rather the texture?I have the same problem with one of my mortar and pestle bowls, one of my dining cups, and the jug and pots normally found in the ruins. I don't know how to fix it and it's driving me crazy. Using Vortex and run pretty stable with 774 mods. Despite that I don't think any of my installed mods retextures those braziers, that bowl, or that cup, so it seems like those meshes are breaking vanilla textures? Is it plugin load order? Do I have some random misplaced file causing issues or corrupted saves? Possible parallax issues? I don't know. I do know after scouring through all of my installed mods that I don't believe a single one addresses all of these items. For example I found wrbrazier and wrbrazierbowl.nif meshes in high poly but nothing about the affected pottery or the mortar and pestle. Any troubleshooting help would be much appreciated. I've broken this game more times than I can count and usually don't ask for help but this has me stumped.

Darthhister
This could be a mesh issue, it depends on what is happening. But most likely it is just conflicting or incorrect textures, the normal maps probably. You'll want to find the loose textures for each mesh and delete them (or just move them somewhere, like your desktop, for testing). Your mods probably have textures in a BSA while some loose textures (possibly from an old mod) are conflicting with the new changes. You can use this tool to know the exact texture assigned to each mesh:https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/2156 It's much easier than loading each mesh in nif skope
