Replacing Headwrap with Bandanna

I tried to replace the headwraps in the game with bandanas by replacing meshes and textures. I did this because I'm trying to wear 3 Dog's Headwrap but I think a bandana looks cooler on my character :P

I was somewhat successful... but I still have one problem. My character's hair is "tucked in" as if the headwrap is still there. Like... it won't show the rest of my character's hair. Is there a way to fix this such as changing a line in some file so that the headwrap behaves like the bandana? Thanks!

I think the best way to go about it would be to edit the bandana NIF to point to the headwrap texture you wanted. Click the NiTriShape of the bandana, expand the BSShaderPPLightingProperty, click the BSShaderTextureSet, expand the texture list at the bottom of Nifskope, and replace "textures\armor\headgear\bandanaplain01.dds" with "textures\armor\headwrap\headwrap01.dds" (or whichever headwrap ThreeDog wears I dunno). No need to change the "*_n.dds" at all. Make sure to add the mesh to your ArchiveInvalidation.txt and you're all set.
