Vortex Autosorting Disabled?

I recently reset my PC and ever since then, Vortex, my preferred mod-loader, broke, put simply, the autosorting feature has completely stopped working, previously, upon correcting a load order mistake, say, setting mod A to run before mod B, Vortex would automatically set mod B to load after mod A, and upon scrolling down to it in your manage menu you would see it had been set as "after." Now, you have to manually set this in the menu, this may not seem like a big issue, but it has resulted in, admittedly partially due to my own lack of experience, frequently "mod rules contain cycles" errors.

 

Resolving these issues is even more of a hassle now, as load cycles also have to be fixed manually, Vortex will only allow for one or two mods to be sorted before the management screen automatically closes, and can't be reopened unless you restart the program. I'll often have to restart Vortex around 5 to 15 times just to fix a single cycle.

 

I don't know what happened to Vortex to cause this, so my question is how do I fix it, and enable automatic sorting again. I should probably mention enabling the "autosort" feature in the plugins section does nothing, and that I've gone through the settings multiple times and found nothing.
