dkzzzy
Greetings to all witchers out there! So, there's a rather popular issue among the players who use DualShock 4 to play the Witcher 3. As far as I know, the problem was caused by one of the Steam updates that messed up the in-game layout, so even when a player is using a PS4 DualShock 4 Controller, the game itself shows the XBOX Layout. There are two popular solutions for this problem and only one of them works for me (same for lots of other players that I've met on Steam and CDPR Forums). The first one should fix the problem by changing the "input.Manager.ws" file in the game directory, but seems like it's not really working. The second one (the one that works for me and some other players) is simply running the game .exe file in the game directory. HOWEVER, this solution has a huge downside: all Steam features become unavailable, which means no game activity, no screenshots, etc. So this topic is directed to all modders out there, who got some free time and extra love for the game! Guys, please, can at least one of you spent some time and make an actual working mod that would help DualShock 4 TW3 players! As far as I'm concerned, it should not be that hard, but I should probably mention that I have never tried it (speaking of making mods), so I may be wrong. Good luck on the path!
