Sinmatic Posted April 29, 2020 Share Posted April 29, 2020 (edited) Does anyone know of an updated tutorial or video for using the LODgen thats been imported to xedit? Is it the same as Skyrim or is anything different? I used DYNDOLOD about 5 orr 6 years ago for Skyrim and successfully made a LOD for that game but it was so long ago and Im just not that familiar with generating LOD's and my experience with that literally is just following a guide for DYNDOLOD specifically. in other words Ive never used xLODgen. I have no idea how to import LOD textures or if I even need to and the Tree LOD check box is grayed out. Im just totally lost as to where to start with this and not sure at all if 4 year old skyrim guides are applicable to FO4 in 2020. Edit: would have asked this over at xEdit on Nexus but that thread was locked due to douche bags doing douche baggery. Sinmatic Posted April 29, 2020 Author Share Posted April 29, 2020 (edited) Ok thanks, just looking for someone to point me in a direction and confirm that I was correct in my suspicions that it worked the same as Skyrim and hasnt changed drastically in the past few years. Im trying to get rid of the horrible dead trees in the distance cause Im using boston natural surroundings as well as add in things like the Minutemen watchtowers .... I kept finding dead links to the resources or links to Skyrim resources and wasnt sure if This was still valid 3 years later Thank you again.
