ricechex
i know there are mods that add random npcs to towns to make them seem more lively, but i have always found it odd that for most shops,i am their only customer,so i would like to see npcs in shops looking at merchandise, talking with the owner, etc. Also i would like to see npcs in towns that do more than walk around aimlessly, they should go to taverns and into shops and stuff,if this is too hard to do,please tell me,but otherwise, please make this happen, thankyou. Deleted1308005User
Mm..http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/8429This mod adds around hundread npc's (If I remember correctly) around Skyrim, all have unique dialogues and so on, I recommend trying it.It's not really what you asked but it's really nice addition. Also http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/15501 Author stated in one of his comments that NPC's travel directly to some interiors, thus it'd be something closer to what you asked for. Edit:Also, I really hope someone would make mod which would add MUCH more NPC's around cities. Edited December 23, 2012 by Guest

senterpat
Seems like it'd be better to modify existing npcs daily schedules to make the go in like once a week for a few hours.

Not bad idea, but the dialogue would be hard to create. But It'd make sense if some of those campers inside Bannered Mare would leave the dusty inn during days, maybe check inside the shops and then come back.Maybe just so that they'd go to shop, look at things and go away? Not hugely realistic but it's better than nothing.
GoodfellowGoodspring
I expected more AI and more active NPCs in Skyrim, Skyrim in general looks a lot more streamlined than Oblivion as most NPCs are in one place and don't even travel around like in Cyrodil :(
