Mod Request - Wanderer Only Tournaments

This is something I want to do that won't do anything for the base game. Like... a separate mode where it loads your wanderers and then hosts tournaments, and you just watch the AI fight each other. I know absolutely nothing about modding at all, so, if this is impossible or super difficult, sorry for the waste of time/request.

I want to be able to watch random tournaments that have all custom wanderers, wearing unique clothes and carrying the base weapons that are used in tournaments. The idea is that you'd host these tournaments, make custom heroes, and watch them battle it out. (For my purposes, I'd give them all equal stats, but, I suppose you could vary them, like, a guy who is good with one handed weapons, and another guy who is great with polearms or bows.)

The major issues I see being -

I'd want to somehow use all of the base gear in the game, but normalize stats, so that the guys in plate don't have higher armor than the guys wearing robes, so everyone could pick their own clothing and not have it change the dynamics of the fights. I understand that there's some variance between wanderers naturally, and, that's ok, I don't think that matters much in the grand scheme of things.

I'd prefer to not have to do anything but build the custom characters and then let them duke it out. (like, not having to find all the Wanderers by traveling to towns, find a town that has a tournament, have a high enough clan level to hire them, ect.)

Have the locations change between tournaments, maybe the game would "host tournaments in different towns" or something so you get varied battlefields.

I'd prefer to not change anything in the code that might break the game if the mod gets uninstalled. It would be great if it worked in Vortex (because I'm a dummy and don't know how to install mods otherwise.)


It would use the standard tournament format, more than likely. I don't even think the game would have to save, or reward prizes, or do any of that, because it would just be standalone tournaments for fun. (This might actually be a problem, because tournaments give prizes, and that might not be something that can be taken out?)

If there's a mod that already does this, I apologize. I believe I've looked through them all, but, I might have missed one. I was looking at the Tournament Xpanded (https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/27) to see if it was similar/did what I was looking for, but, it appears to be totally different. (If something like this could be added to that, that would be excellent, but, I think I'm looking for something way off in left field.) A lot of the cool options like 1v1 only vs. teamed tournaments would be nice, but, definitely not required. I think the game's format works now, but, more customization is always better than less, I think.

I honestly have no idea how to make mods at all, but I'm willing to learn. I just know this is a big project and I'm not exceptionally bright. Is there a way this can be done? Are there things I need to be aware of, or things I need to look into? Does anyone else think this is a good idea, or have ideas that are similar/might make this cooler or more entertaining?

Sorry for all the questions, I just got into the idea of modding things in general, I usually just play vanilla. I'm wondering if it's probably going to have to just be a standalone thing, so, if you turn on the mods it just loads differently than the regular game, loads your wanderer list, sets of armor, and you just... run through an equipment screen and put gear on people and stuff, or if there's a way to customize their gear, or... I don't really know. I know certain pieces of this might just not be possible/be more work than it's worth (heck, the whole thing is probably more work than it's worth to most people), but if even pieces of it could be built, I'd like to do it/help do it.

Also, I apologize about the formatting of my message, I tend to ramble and not make a lot of sense. I don't want to seem like I'm just an ideas guy saying, "Hey, someone make this mod for me!" like some kind of jerk, but I'd definitely like to talk with someone about it, to see if it's even a possibility.
