MagicDisallowEnchanting?

So I'm trying to allow disenchanting on the Arch Mages Robes ( I'm using SSEEdit ). So I click on Skyrim.esm, scroll down and click Armor, right click on the Archmage's Robes, click "Copy as overide into" and then click <new file>.esp but I'm not sure which one because there's ones with ESM or ESL and one with both. There's also .esm and .esl so I have absolutely no idea haha. I click on the one with blank ESM and ESL and then click "OK" and the bottom. From there I scroll down to the keyword "MagicDisallowEnchanting [KYWD:000C27BD]", right click and hit remove. Now from here to my knowledge I've done it right and all I have to do is save and exit SSEEdit and load skyrim. However when I load it and try to the Archmage's robes, I still can't. I'm super new to this so please any help would be GREAT! Thanks all.
