Character won't load.

Hi everyone, after playing for about 40 mins on one of my characters, when I exited the game and came back in to play I get stuck on the loading screen with a sword or another item floating around with those tips of quotes from the story. It's the loading screen just after selecting your character. I have done check file integrity on steam for skyrim, it say's it's missing one file but it never downloads that file. So when I do the check again it still say's it's missing one file. Help please :P. If I have to I'll give a list of mods I have.

All I have changed was the rate my mana would regen. That was in the skyrim.ini. Also for some reason when I launched Skyrim it just fully deleted it self... So now I need to redownload absolutely everything, how fun is this..

I have this issue everyday, you can't imagine how many new save games I've made. Right now I have over 400 saves just for this. and this is my 7th character just because of this issue. There's absolutely no fix to this issue, and no your save games are not corrupted. The only thing you can try is start a new game, finish the character design and then load your actual save game from there. You might want to save that new character so that everytime you load your game from that place. I would recommend the alternative start mod as it immediately starts on the race menu, and you don't need to go through all that Helgen lengthy start.
