Are there any ways to repair save files?

So my current game starts to crash at certain areas. Sure it's only 2 general areas and 3 quick travel locations but this sign scares me.

 

I signed out of live and loaded an old "001" save just before you leave the vault. So I leave the vault and unlocked all locations in the world map to find if I'll crash again after quick traveling to the same locations that would otherwise crash my game, in which I did not crash.

 

Is there any way to repair or restore corrupted save files?

 

And this is what I get for clicking on Tech Support links at bethesda's site:

I've been reading reports of corrupted saves.There's no way i've heard of to repair one.I have turned off all auto saving and don't use quick save.Same thing happened with Oblivion and Daggerfall.With Daggerfall there was a program to fix saves but it only worked half the time.Fallout needs a heavy duty patch bad.
