Snakebite1223
I've posted in the program's comment section, but in hindsight I'm probably not going to get an answer for awhile, so I thought I'd post here and ask the same question. I've downloaded Wrye bash and my antivirus has picked up something called "w9xpopen.exe". What is this? Is it safe?
bben46
With tens of thousands of people using Wrye Bash , that is most likely a false positive and there is nothing wrong with the program. If there really is a virus in Wrye Bash we would be seeing a lot of people reporting it. We are not seeing this. However, If you would like a second opinion - here is a link to Virus Total - it uses a lot of different antivirus programs to check a single program on your computer - or a single URL. It's FREE and is a service of Google https://www.virustotal.com/
Snakebite1223
Thanks very much. I know it was unlikely, but just wanted to make sure is all!
