Noob Question: Easiest way to rename spells?

I am searching for the easiest way to rename spells in Oblivion ESP/ESMs (for personal in-game purposes). I know of three methods but I am having major issues with all three. One is with the TES Construction Set. The problem is that when loading a ESP, it must also load all of the associated masters. This makes searching, sorting, and organizing a pain.

The second method is using Wrye Bash's "Export -> Spells" option, modifying the exported CSV with Notepad and then importing it back in. The problem with this option, which would otherwise be the easiest by-far, is that I receive an error when importing. It says "No relevant spell details to import" even though changes have been made.

The third method is similar to the second. Also using Wrye Bash, I have tried using "Export -> Names" and then importing the changes back in. In doing so, I receive a different error..."No changed required."

And just to clarify, I have tried the second & third methods with the ESPs/ESMs both loaded and unloaded but no luck. Also, I am very familiar with CSV files and their formats (tab, semicolon and comma delimited), so I am quite certain it isn't a typo or formatting issue during the edit.

Am I missing something on either the TES CS or the Wrye Bash methods? Maybe a missing option in TES CS to filter out the masters? Or maybe a missing step needed before importing CSVs back into Wrye Bash? Or is there an easier way to edit just the spell names?

Between using the 'psb' console command, the Spell Delete mod, and a lot of other spell-adding mods, any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Easiest way to rename spells is simply doing it in the CS. Load the Oblivion.esm, locate the spells and simply give them a different name. Then save the new esp and you're done.

Normally this would be true but when you have a LOT of mods installed who's ESPs contain the spells I wish to edit, loading the required masters (such as oblivion.esm) causes miles and miles of spells I must sort through just to find what I am looking for. In other words, being forced to load oblivion.esm, and other masters, are the largest part of my problem using TES CS.

Is there a way to filter out the content loaded by the masters and only show the content of the active ESP?

It would probably be easier if you explain what exactly you're trying to accomplish, so it would be easier to suggest a proper solution. However, in case you're unaware, you can sort spells by name in the CS. Also, tools like Tes4Edit could show the spells added by a mod.

Thanks for your replies and help Maskar. I use the psb console command for all the extra hidden "goodies" left for us by Bethesda. I also use a lot of mods that include spells, everything ranging from companion mods to NPC control, etc. Between all of these my spellbook is flooded with 300+ spells, most of which I'll never use. To get rid of unneeded spells, I use the Spell Delete mod that helps with the clutter. However, being the neat-freak that I am, I would like to organize my spellbook further by prefixing like spells such as [stun] <Spell Name>, [NPC] NPC Control, [NPC] Wardrobe, [Absorb] <Attribute or Skill>, [Fire] <Spell Name>, [Fortify] <Attribute> etc.

This way they are correctly categorized in order within my spell book using bracketed prefixes for easy lookup and access. I am not looking to change the spell effects in any way, only their names and how they are displayed in-game.

EDIT: I'm giving TES4Edit a shot now.
