.lip format

hello nexus forum users

 

ive been trying to make new holotapes and it seams that the audio files used are

related to .lip files, seemingly as some sort of marker. (everything works up untill playback)

 

i am very familiar with the audio files involved here but have never seen a .lip file,

i guess its related to max/maya/blender/etc ? . can anyone tell me what a .lip file is for

and how i might go about hacking it ? . what software creates these files ?

Yeah, it makes the character lipsync while speaking the line.

thank you myrmaad , i will start drudging through that site soon after i have made an account. even in google im getting crap results for searches on the .lip format.
