Armor/Outfits texture glitches?

For some reason when I equip or see NPC's in certain outfits or armors, the texture of the apparel constantly changes. My Fallout 3 is heavily modded, but this only seems to happen on items that aren't changed by my texture replacers. For instance it happened with the Combat Armor which was untouched at the time, but when I tried using a texture replacer for the combat armor, the bug stopped. Is there a way to fix this short of installing a texture replacer for every item this happens to?

 

Right now I just want to wear some troublemaker merc armor in peace...

I had a similar problem that I overmodded my game and suddenly my Shotgun had the texture of the armor I was wearing

or when I shot, the textures of the thing I hit appeared as impactanimation.

 

Don't know if its the same problem but I solved it by erasing my archiveinvalidation and mods.
