fortuntek
Looks to be a common issue. Have followed steps here:https://help.nexusmo...s-what-can-i-do Downloads are usually anywhere from 800-1,300 KB/s, making larger downloads take hoursThis applies to both manual downloads in Chrome and in Vortex, per download. As with other users I've seen report this, it's per download, not my connection speed I live in Canada and have tried CDN and Chicago serversMy downloads hit about 20 MB/s elsewhere (i.e. Steam, etc) Ping result: Pinging files.nexus-cdn.com [185.246.209.245] with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 185.246.209.245: bytes=32 time=45ms TTL=52 Reply from 185.246.209.245: bytes=32 time=44ms TTL=52 Reply from 185.246.209.245: bytes=32 time=43ms TTL=52 Reply from 185.246.209.245: bytes=32 time=43ms TTL=52 Ping statistics for 185.246.209.245: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 43ms, Maximum = 45ms, Average = 43msMy slow downloads perform identically with the sample downloads that I've tried from the article as well. This happened after restarting my computer, logging in with a different browser, etcThere's no way my ISP is capping it either, unless they only target Nexus mods and just so happen to be capping at the same speed that non-Premium Nexus mod users (with adBlock) get :P
BigBizkit
Just to be clear: we are, of course, not capping your speed. It just seems that due to reasons that are likely outside of our control (your ISP and their connection to our service) you are getting slower speeds than expected. Could you please send an email to [email protected] (this is because we will need your IP and I won't ask you to post it on the forum) providing the following: 1. Please run a trace route to prague.nexus-cdn.com and provide the full output* 2. Please confirm the download of this file is slow - http://prague.nexus-cdn.com/100M3. Please let us know what speed you get from http://amsterdam.nexus-cdn.com/100M4. If this is any better, then please provide a traceroute to amsterdam.nexus-cdn.com ...and please also provide the IP address that the request is coming from (in the email). *To run a trace route: Open command prompt and type in "tracert prague.nexus-cdn.com" (or "amsterdam.nexus-cdn.com" respectively).
