PlanetSlayer Posted December 26, 2012 Share Posted December 26, 2012 If there are mesh replacements in my Skyrim/Data/Meshes folder then when entering cities such as Whiterun, the game will freeze/crash upon loading the area if I have a meshes in my Skyrim/Data/Meshes/Architecture/Whiterun folder. When I disable these folders I'm able to enter these areas without issue. This goes for any folder that's causing crashes, if I disable them, then I'm fine. This issue started early November, 2012. Around that time I'd done a clean re-install following Bben's clean Oblivion re-install guide, which I tweaked a little for Skyrim. I've checked whether this might be caused by mods and I've disabled all but a few and I still get the same result.With all my mesh folders intact, I fast traveled to Whiterun on a new clean savegame, then the game insta-crashed, just with the following mods activated: Update.esm Dawnguard.esm HearthFires.esm HighResTexturePack01.esp HighResTexturePack02.esp unofficial skyrim patch.esp HighResTexturePackFix.esp Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp Any help with this would be appreciated greatly! steve40 Posted December 27, 2012 Share Posted December 27, 2012 (edited) It says this on Project Parallax description page: "Currently is known to cause CTDs, have not been able to figure out why. So if you use it and get CTDs, just uninstall it." Also: "This mod runs off of ENB .112, if you don't have that than this mod will not work right.".
