oHUD Bug

I've been having this issue with oHUD that's been having me pull my hair out. https://imgur.com/a/xeEsAYG


Load a save with the PC unarmed, yellow sliver appears next to CND indicator and AMMO for some f*#@ing reason. Try to fix it by equipping and unequipping a weapon, ammo counter persists as though equipped with the last weapon.


Re-installed game 3 times now, mixed and matched every conceivable load order from my very meager mod list, even tried leaving at as the only mod active in MO2 and it still wouldn't go away. If there's anyone out there who's a better man than me, I would greatly appreciate the help.

If I am identifying the correct "sliver" (it helps immensely when you markup an image to point out the specific problem area) that is roughly where throwable items such as grenades or spears are indicated. I don't really see a "bug", but I often need help working out what people are trying to show in an image so it could just be me.

 

If you are prepared to get into XML coding then you can probably remove that "placeholder". Please see the wiki "HUD-UI-Menu issues" article. (This takes some interpretation as applies to your situation. There are too many permutations for an "if A then B" type of guide. If you haven't encountered XML files before then the "TL;DR" section is not going to help by itself.)

 

Edit: Just found "The HUD Editor" has been released. Untested, but this might make such an edit easier.

 

Otherwise I can only advise you to ignore it.
