Heartcloud
I'm having a weird bug with latest version of nexus mod manager. A few mods do not show up in the mods list in NMM, yet they're 100% there (since I see them as installed in the load order, and the .rar/.zip is obviously in [install directory]/mods). Yes I have double and triple checked, and yes I know sometimes NMM does not display the actual name of the .rar/.zip file but change it to some random one. The only way I figured to solve this is to manually delete/rename the .rar/.zip file in /mods, then when I load up NMM it'll say something about the file has changed and force me to uninstall it. After it gets rid of it I move the file out of /mods, then move it back in, and sometimes it will appear in the list.Anyone got a solution to this? MShoap13
The plugins tab is your Load Order. That's all of the plugins from mods that are currently installed. The mods tab is all mod archives (.zip, .rar, etc.) currently located in the directory you set up for them when installing NMM. A lot of mods are simple resource replacers and do not require a plugin. The game stores the vanilla resources in .bsa archives. These archives have a complete file structure hidden inside of them. If you wanted to replace the texture for say, the Daedric Sword, placing a loose .dds texture with the proper name (DaedricSword.dds) at the proper location (\Skyrim\Data\Textures\Weapons\Daedric\) will cause the game to automatically use the replacer texture instead of the vanilla one.
