Verdigo
It seems to me that currently you cannot add a new weapon piece to an existing Crafting_Template without overriding an entire category like TwoHandedSword. Am I correct in this assessment? I If I don't copy everything in the <CraftingTemplate id="TwoHandedSword" that already exists then the game will crash. But doing this would conflict with vanilla updates. I can change the CraftingTemplate id to a custom name but then the crafting menu weapon type drop down freaks out with id str_crafting_template doesn't exist. Is there a way to add custom pieces to say TwoHandedSword without having to put the entire TwoHandedSword section in my xml? Edit: As a word of warning to anyone who installs a new weapon mod as it will poison your save file from that weapon ever being uninstalled. As of right now I think there is only 1 new weapon mod on Nexus that I'm aware of. It uses its own CraftingTemplate ID so if you were to spawn that weapon, save, exit the game and uninstall it then next time you load that save you will be greeted with an Object reference not set to an instance of an object error.I poisoned my own save while experimenting with added OneHandedSword pieces to the TwoHandedSword CraftingTemplate.
