Bound Weapons + Destruction Spells = Enchanted Bound weapons

Bound weapons are an interesting and creative concept but I just find them lacking so I thought of a mod that indirectly buffs them using destruction spells

 

Heres how its gonna work

 

You have:

L > Conjure: Bound sword

R > Flames

You conjure your sword

= A bound sword that has fire enchantment on it

 

Now for the 2 handed bound weapons

L > Conjure: Bound Bow

R > Frostbite

You cast it

= A bound bow that has frost enchantment to it

 

So basically

 

X destruction spell + Any bound weapon = Bound weapon that applies X damage

 

Balancing stuff

- Once you've conjured your weapon you cant change the enchantment. You must conjure another one for it to apply

- Unlockable through a perk. Either slap it on top of mystic binding or branch off it

 

Optional stuff

- A perk that can apply harmful effects such as paralysis, fury, fear and etc for 10/15/25 % for Bound bows, 7/10/15 % for melee weapons

- Color changes based on the type of spell you have

- Dual cast animation to make it look like you are applying the enchantment

 

 

I'm running a Fresh new SpellSword build who exclusively uses Bound weapons because there is literally a Spell for a sword hehe. I've been playing dagger assasin for the past 3 runs up to level 40 and decided to try something new

 

Most of the bound weapon mods on the Nexus are just number buffs while Recolor Bound Weapons is the closest one but they are all individual different spells like Conjure: Flame Bound Sword, Conjure: Spark Bound Sword, Conjure: Frost Bound Sword and etc
