I'm thinking it would be a waste to not do something with it.I have a video up that shows some of the area - so far its a grassy steppe so far with three regions - a mountain area, a grassy steppe, and a swampy area.I'm going to post the link here, but if this is against the rules let me know and I'll take it down asap. scarycave Posted December 30, 2012 Author Share Posted December 30, 2012 (edited) I don't know if I want to put in a big settlement in, since I kind of want the place to have a vast wilderness feel though I was thinking of putting a destroyed town in that could work as a big city. There will definitely be a few settlements in here though, I made a tower shrine (Towers of different scales stacked up on each other) with some ruins around it that's inhabited by Grummites the area around it is in water that's just deep enough to swim but shallow enough to prevent diving or moving the camera underwater, so all you see is the grummites heads in the water and it kind of looks like Jaws. The world space is getting huge though, and I really want to seal off some areas with invisible walls. It would be nice if there was a way to view the whole world space (with textures) so I could mark off areas. Yeah same problem here :P Yeah, its a real pain :)I've started over the whole world-scape though, it was getting way to big and there was too much dead-space when I should of just been doing it a grid at a time. I had built the town and filled it with the undead but I think I can make it again, just wish the set came with more ruined houses then just Kvatch. I'm thinking about making it an island but then I have to worry about players swimming around the island to get to locations - which I could fix with some powerful enemies, or make it poisonous, the problem there is that if an essential Npc falls in they won't be able to get out. The player will be able to get one as a possible companion, possibly as a puppy.The dog will use a version of the code I used for Ushnars Hound advanced and Blood the dog (Once I figure out how to get Steam to work with the OBSE :P) http://i.imgur.com/wLSks.pngOne of the new enemies on the world-space will be the Ogre-Giant (called Giants in game)They are powerful enemies that can push you a great distance with each hit (or planning to anyways).There will be an Npc that will award you for every giant you fell during your travels. http://i.imgur.com/XawAl.pngThis next fella is the chomp-fish, they are essentially stronger versions of Slaughter fish, I'm hoping to give them abilities that will cause opponents to lose health(Bleed) when they attack.A certain Npc will be able to use collected scales and convert them into special arrows - (drain health by 1 pt. for 30 seconds). These rats are harmless and right-now only for cosmetic purposes, they can't be looted and will usually die in a single hit. The lighthouse so far includes the tower sections - so you can reach the top. Players will be able to find a special amulet here that will have the Light enchantment among other bonuses.
