SteveTheRadRoach
Long story short: !!! Old computer Windows 7 - Fallout 3 GOTY worked fine - Mods worked fine - FOSE worked fine! New Computer Windows 8 - Fallout 3 GOTY works fine - Mods work fine - FOSE does not even load? I have followed the same steps as I did on my old computer to get it working but every time I click on the launcher it says: C: Program files (x86) Steam SteamApps common Fallout 3 goty FOSE.exe The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable Please if anybody knows how to fix this I would be very greatful! Is it Windows 8 screwing up or did I install this wrong? I have tried EVERYTHING!! Regards.
rickerhk
For windows vista and up, you should install steam outside of program files, like c:\steamUAC or antivirus might be interfering with FOSE, since it injects itself into the running executable.
