Superrpgman
Sorry for the second topic, but I posted the original one in the wrong board by accident. Anyways,,, Ok, so it's like this. Short version: Looking for mods specifically that don't add quests or new lands or such, but instead enhance the experience of what is already in the game, such as race and item mods. Regardless, please feel free to suggest anything you desire. Thank you for your time. Oh, and just to clarify, neither of are new to Morrowind, we just haven't played it in years, and therefore are out of sync with the mod scene Full version: Staring sometime early next year, my girlfriend and I are planning to do what I'm calling Morrowind Mod Mondays, where we try out different mods for what we both consider to be one of the best games ever made. We both haven't touched it in years, and I'm hoping that it will be a great experience for us both. We're not aiming to complete all the games quests perse, but we're looking to get some great experiences out of Morrowind regardless. Our focus will be mods that don't add new lands or whole new adventures(ie questlines) but instead enhance Morrowind's experiences. Right now I'm thinking things among the lines of Race mods and item mods. I'm planning to be something from one of Sabregirl's mods, ( http://www.sabregirl...mods/races.html ) and I'm hoping that she'll be up for for the same, but I'd also love some suggestions towards other modded in races, as well as mods that add different npcs in the game. Regardless of what race I make my character, I plan to use the Belt of Flight and Landing from the Pharlan mod, but I'd like some suggestions towards other items as well. Like I said, those are just two types of mods that I've thought up of, and I'm looking for more suggestiobs, so again, feel free to suggest whatever you wish. Oh, and please, don't assume that a certain mod may be so obvious that I MUST know that it's borderline essential, as like I said, I haven't played with any in years, and I'm not sure what I need. Oh, and just to clarify, neither of are new to morrowind, we just haven't played it in years, and therefore are out of sync with the mod scene Thank you for your time. Oubliette
Sotha Sil Expanded just came out and definitely expands on original content, mainly the clockwork city. Making it much more expansive and immersive now. Might be a bit much for low level characters though. For low level characters but experienced players I'd recommend getting Abot's recently released, boats, silt striders and gondola addons. Allows for real time travel between these fast travel points and allows the player the opportunity to sit back and just enjoy the scenery. Very, very nice. Especially if you've updated your trees, rocks and textures already  You might also want to hop by the official forums (Bethesda's Morrowind Mods forum, can't get more 'official' than that) and look up Westly's head packs, he's redoing all of the vanilla races with higher resolution and higher poly meshes and textures. There's two versions to every race, new faces and stock faces redone to be crisper, clearer and more updated without losing the original games feel. I'd suggest staying at the official forums once there though, that's where you'll find the majority of the current Morrowind modding scene and you'll easily be able to find new mods that meet your criteria there. Also, not many Mw modders upload their work to Nexus, some only use 4shared or dropbox now, others place them up at Fliggerty's or have their own download sites
Superrpgman
I'll give a more detailed reply later, but you say that most people don't post mods here anymore. Why is that?
