Dongeroman
Basically the most bullshit thing I've ever encountered in this game so far is when you're taking rad damage through a wall because some ghoul decided to spawn as a glowing one and you have to console command to kill that ghoul off or make yourself invincible to be able to use a terminal. My request is basically this, a mod that lets me use terminals when I'm taking radiation damage. I don't know why bungie thought it was a good idea to not be able to use computers / terminals while taking rad damage but it's not cute I'd rather die while using a terminal then to lose my mind over why I can't use a terminal. This is especially game breaking in survival mode. Completely screws up immersion having to console command to fix one of beth's screw ups. Dongeroman
Minor annoyance, brotoo much work just to change a small thing If you can't do it what's your point ? And how is it a minor annoyance when I can't progress the f*#@ing game because I can't use a terminal to open a door that's essential to progressing because I'm taking radiation damage? That's actually very game breaking if it stops all game progress. And if you're on console guess what you're f*#@ed period point blank.
nordmarv
Never happened to me.Anyway if you can kill him, grab his corpse to move him far from the terminal.
Dongeroman
Never happened to me.Anyway if you can kill him, grab his corpse to move him far from the terminal. That's the problem the mob is behind the wall. i'll give an example one of the most bulls*** mobs in the game is a Glowing one, their radiation will literately hit you from behind a wall and if that happens you cannot hack a terminal no matter what. The only way to fix this is to use the console because you cannot reach this glowing one behind a wall. That's just an example but it's a huge oversight on Bethesda's part. Worst case scenario that mob is behind the door that has to be unlocked with hacking / using a terminal . Well guess what you're completely SOL because you cannot hack the terminal to progress your game to open the door because you're getting ****ed sideways by radiation that's stopping you from using the terminal. If I knew how to edit the Glowing one's radiation AOE radius I would but I have no idea how to do that and I don't want to screw things up. That's why I'm requesting this for mainly radiation based AOE damage to just tone down the radius. The biggest culprit being the glowing one Edited May 10, 2020 by Dongeroman

nordmarv
Can I ask you under what circumstances?Maybe it insn't a spawn problem but it's designed like this to pass from another way, or you should find an hazmat suit somewhere in that place. EDIT Try this one Edited May 10, 2020 by nordmarv

EDIT Try this oneHoly s*** a remote terminal mod actually exists? You know what's another ridiculous bug sometimes you can't even use a terminal for example in Waltz electronic store for no reason, it's insane that bug has never been fixed. So this remote hacking lets you use any terminal from long range ? That's perfect actually and the circumstance a glowing one spawns is for example if you're using a mod that removes NPC scaling if an internal area spawns a glowing one because you're too high level you are completely f***ed and cannot use a terminal to progress the game. The other scenario is a pile of ashes giving out radiation that cannot be moved or a corpse that's too heavy. Those scenarios piss me off because then I'm forced to use console commands either to activate no collision or delete a corpse. If I'm on survival that makes it even worst because now I have to use a working and functional console command activating mod. The fact this issue is in the base game infuriates me because it's been an issue for 4 years from what I've read. nordmarv
I don't want to justify Bethesda, they have their flaws and it's well known, but if you install a mod that randomizes spawns you are the one who's going to look for it. For heaven's sake, it's nice to mod a game to your liking but it's best to do it wisely.

For heaven's sake, it's nice to mod a game to your liking but it's best to do it wisely. This happens in the base game without mods as well. The spawns are not randomized. A ghoul can spawn as a Glowing one if you're too high level and in certain parts of the game you are absolutely f***ed if you have to hack a terminal. The other bug which is 100% bethesda as well is not even being able to use a terminal at all and trust me this is the most frustrating thing ever. I also never said I added a randomized spawn mod. I've been using a mod that scales NPC level up so that NPCs aren't level 4 forever and instead match my level all the time. Bethesda gets plenty of bug complaints all the time and its ridiculous bugs like County Crossing crashing still after years of bug reports still happens. These aren't little bugs either these are definitely game breaking. Edited May 10, 2020 by Dongeroman
