I've tried walking up and doing the introductory quest, but I crash as soon as I get close to Ancano and Mirabelle. CTD as well when trying to use alternate start and beginning at the college.

I've tried autocleaning with LOOT, tried a fresh reinstall of the game + mods, not sure what else to do because I'm not a mod creator. I had immersive college of winterhold in there but removed it suspecting the cause but still no fix on old save or new. I also experience no other CTD's so far playing the game.
