hey guys, here is my wip, well, I tried to export it based on malo's tutorial for clothing but I did not succeed.

 

It was modelled in maya and rigged on blender.

 

if anyone with experience on exporting this kind of thing is willing to help, it will be much appreciated.

Although I cant help you import it, I will say you should toss that into Zbrush and subdivide the crap out of it, then model a sweet hi-poly version for Normal Maps. (while you are on this step you might as well)

 

I know I know, its extensive procedure, and you just want to put your mesh in the game and see if it works, but I cant stifle my excitement about high-poly meshes and normal maps :)

unfortunately I dont, my first language is portuguese and my second is english.

 

I am having problems after exporting from blender, I must be very stupid, cause I just cant reorder the nodes on the dismemberment instance, there is no sense in that for me, I put it up and sundenly it goes all the way to the bottom, and when I get one right, after I start moving another node, everything becomes out of place, I almost shot my monitor.

 

of course, when I try to use my mesh, CTD.

dont sort the nodes in that way... ;)

 

do not change order but change each nodes name

 

if its

then dont move the 3 down or the 2 up but change the 3s name to 2 and the 2 to 3 (name here refers to the index number which comes with a name)

 

and maybe read my tutorial aswell as it explains it a bit different than malos :P (link to it is in the modelling mini tutorial)
