MacSuibhne Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 Second playthrough. Nepos and Cidhna--I fast traveled to Riften the moment I walked out of Nepos' house. Wasn't looking forward to Cidhna. What now? What will happen if I go back to Markarth? Will I be arrested?

What will happen if I go back to Markarth? Will I be arrested?You don't get arrested until you report back to the Shrine of Talos (which is where you'll be arrested). Therefore, you can return to Markarth with impunity.

Except in extreme circumstances, I pretty much played the game, the first time through, as it came at me. But i really didn't like being forced into corners. At the same time, I don't want to abandon questlines if I don't have to. Eventually, I'll do Cidhna.
