Pollux710
I guess I've tried, everything, being a bit of a novice here I doubt that is the case. Every texture mod I try never seems to work from changing models to armor textures. The gameplay mods work great(then again theres a simple tool). I've tried to use the archiveinvalidation.txt and even a .bsa redirection technique and nothing seems to work. Everything is in my fallout3 directories correctly and i edited the .ini files. Running vista though I've never had any problems with that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Baelkin
Errmm... well if you've added the new files correctly into the ArchiveInvalidation.txt, the only thing I can think of you could try is checking the "Load Loose Files" under the Data Files option on the launcher splash screen (unless you use FOMM to launch the game, it does this automatically). Also make sure that your ArchiveInvalidation file is placed in the root of the Fallout 3 installation folder and not in the Data folder. Can't think of anything else at the moment that might help you solve the problem.
Uzibeatle
http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=944 That method works fine if you follow instructions. I use it here. If you use it, be sure to delete or rename any existing archiveinvalidation.txt file as it will interfere. I used to use the old method of using archiveinvalidation.txt here but it is a messy method only good if you usea few mods. Once you get the hang of things it is highly undesirable and becomes a management MESS from hell.. Use the method I linked to it does work.
