cyyn
I have Blender, and it doesn't like to load .nif files. I first downloaded the 2.47 version, and it wouldn't let me load .nif files, and now I have the experimental 2.48 version, which wont let me either. Am I doing something wrong? Why can't I get it to work? On top of that, I can't even get NifSkope to work for me. I got one mod done, with little work, and overall it was a nice beginner's attempt. Now, I can't get anything to work. If anyone knows of a way to help me, either in Blender or NifSkope, then I would much appreciate their assistance. Or if they know of a NifSkope tutorial, then that would help as well. I can't seem to find one.
DavidWhitefang
I'm curious if your operating system is Vista... My brother uses Vista and he had a hard time getting blender (or any other program) to run properly at first, until he figured it out. Since no one has answered you yet, I thought I'd ask, and will help you if I can. as far as tutorials, for anything, a Google search will turn them up... Hardly no one seems to do that though, I've noticed.
cyyn
I have XP, something I firmly requested due to the problems prevalent in Vista. I can get Blender up and running, but for some reason I cannot get it to load .nif files. Without that feature, it is practically useless to me. I will try to look on google for tutorials, though. cyyn
thank you very much for that link. I believe you may have also solved my problems with NifSkope as well, as there was a link to the NifSkope Wiki on the plugin page. Again, thank you very much, and i will let you know if it works.
