i've tried UFO, multifollowers, extensible follower framework. have followed installation to the letter, and every time i try to recruit another follower i am STILL told i already have someone. so if anyone has any ideas, i would GREATLY appreciate it because this is really getting on my nerves. skyrim is up to date. i have better followers, horses for followers and convenient horses, but those are said to be compatible. Post your mod list/load order so we can see if there is anything amiss.

It's easier to post and for us to read/comment on your load order in text format:

http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/583662-important-load-order-and-you/

Open your plugins.txt in a text editor. plugins.txt is found in your local application data folder. On Windows Vista/7, this is C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Skyrim\plugins.txt.

Copy/paste here, then enclose in a spoiler tag like so (without the spaces):

[ s p o i l e r ]

copy/paste your load order

[ / s p o i l e r ]

The one thing that I saw was that UFO, while installed in your load order, had not been activated.

The second thing is that you seem to be using a number of armour mods already included in hothtrooper's 'Immersive Armor' (Seadog, vagabond, etc.), and while that should not be relevant to your followers problem, you might consider uninstalling those armour mods and just installing 'Immersive Armor' to help consolidate your load order (and also, it's easier to update just one armour mod rather than have to update several).

Yeah, like I said, you may have installed UFO but you need to 'check' it in your mod manager to load it. Unless you only temporarily disabled it before posting this load order.

Horses for followers.esp <-- I might be mistaken about what this mod is suppose to do, but I don't think you need this if you have convenient horse + UFO. UFO has special features that support CH (followers automatically get horses, follower horse recall toggle, etc.).

hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp <-- ok, you are already using 'Immersive Armor.' Nevermind what I said before about the armour mods.

Immersive Weapons.esp <-- It's my understanding that IW and IA both edit the same leveled lists to assign gears to NPCs (e.g. bandits), even though they are by the same modder (it's inevitable, as it is the only way to assign gears to these mobs). This means you will need to use something like Wrye Bash to create a Bashed Patch which will merge their leveled lists edits, so that the affected NPCs (like bandits) will spawn both IA armours, and IW weapons. Without a compatibility patch, IW's leveled lists 'overrides' IA (as it is loading after IA) and while you can still craft IA armour, you won't see them spawn randomly on mobs.

i disabled UFO when i got Extensive Follower Framework since it seemed to be a better option. Horses for Followers is supposed to work alongside Convenient Horses from what i read. i'm not worried about the armor/weapons right now. i just want an army of minions following me around.
