itsinthegame1
Hey all, about a week ago I received some help from a fellow forum member who helped me solve many of my technical issues running skyrim. One thing they recommended was to use Tes5Edit to determine the load order of mods no recognized by BOSS. I understand some of TES5edit, mostly just cleaning mods and masterfiles, but I wasn't sure on how to do this. Does anyone know?
ripple
Hey all, about a week ago I received some help from a fellow forum member who helped me solve many of my technical issues running skyrim. One thing they recommended was to use Tes5Edit to determine the load order of mods no recognized by BOSS. I understand some of TES5edit, mostly just cleaning mods and masterfiles, but I wasn't sure on how to do this. Does anyone know? To put it simply, TES5Edit allows you to see esp records. So the idea is that if BOSS doesn't recognize a mod and has no idea where to put it (BOSS's load order is based on community input from mod users), you would need to use TES5Edit to look at the unrecognized mod's esp to see if it is conflicting with other esp's in your load order (and then you can decide where the unrecognized esp should be loaded). The TES5Edit Simple Guides should be able get you started:http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29018 Then once you determine if an unrecognized mod need to load before or after certain mods in your load order (or if it doesn't matter, in cases where the mod conflicts with no other mods in your load order), you can either use your mod manager to set the load order of that esp manually, or use BUM to add custom rules for that esp which will be applied whenever you run BOSS.
